How to Apply for Financial Aid

If you are a New Student


2009-2010

Students admitted to Pacific College’s Massage Therapy/Asian Bodywork Certificate, Associate’s degrees, Bachelor’s degrees and Master’s degree are eligible for Federal Student Aid to assist with their educational costs (for those who qualify).

For students starting in Spring (May) 2010 you must complete each of the following:

  1. If you have not already done so, apply for a federal PIN number from the U.S. Department of Education.

    If you have a federal PIN number but have forgotten it, you can ask to have it sent to you from the PIN website.

  1. Complete the 2009-2010 Free Application for Federal Student Aid

    Each Pacific College campus has its own unique federal code. Please use the appropriate code for the campus you plan to attend.

The 2009-2010 FAFSA is for students planning to start in Fall 2009, Winter 2010 or Spring 2010.

  1. Download, complete, sign and submit the appropriate FA Certification Form to the Financial Aid Office:

For students starting the MSTOM Program in Spring (May) 2010:

For students starting the Massage Therapy/Asian Bodywork Program in Spring (May) 2010:
 Massage Spring 2010/Fall 2010 Pacific College Financial Aid Certification Form 

For students starting the Associate of Applied Science (San Diego) or
Associate of Occupational Studies (New York) Program in Spring (May) 2010:
 AAS/AOS Spring 2010/Fall 2010 Pacific College Financial Aid Certification Form 

For students starting the Bachelor of Health Science (San Diego) or
Bachelor of Professional Studies (New York) or Bachelor of Science Program (Chicago) in  Spring (May) 2010:

Alternative loan programs are primarily for students in our programs
which are not currently eligible for federal aid.

  1. All new students and students returning from a semester break must complete Loan Entrance Counseling prior to the receipt of the first disbursement of the loan.  Your loan funds will not be processed until proof of having done so is received by our office.

Important:  In order to expedite the processing of your financial aid, please complete the above steps in a timely manner, read instructions carefully, fill out forms completely and respond to requests for information as promptly as possible.  Also keep Pacific College updated on your current address and phone numbers.
